Ingredients

  • 500 g new potatoes (peeled or scrubbed)
  • 100 g sorrel (macris), cleaned and chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil (olive or your choice)
  • 1 small knob butter (optional)
  • 1-2 sprigs fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the new potatoes into cubes and boil them in salted water until tender. Drain well.
  2. Meanwhile, clean the sorrel by removing stems, wash, and chop roughly.
  3. Heat the oil and butter in a pan. Add the sorrel and sauté quickly for about 30 seconds until just wilted.
