- 4-5 thin dried sausages (like cabanos or Oltenian style)
- 1 small egg
- 4 tbsp milk

- Prepare the milk bread dough according to this recipe.
- Dust your work surface with flour and divide the dough into 8 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into a thin rope about 40 cm long.
- Wrap each dough rope tightly around one sausage, tucking the ends underneath. Cut sausages where dough ends to fit.
- Place the wrapped sausages on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Place the tray inside a plastic bag or cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Beat the egg with milk and brush this glaze evenly over the rolls.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for 20 minutes, until golden brown on top.
