TRIPLE REFRESHING LIME, CUCUMBER & MINT LEMONADE
Try this triple-refresh lemonade combining zesty lime, crisp cucumber, and fresh mint for the ultimate cooling experience.
π Prep Time: 20 minutes
π½οΈ Yield: approx. 1.5 liters
Ingredients
- 250 ml fresh lime juice (from 6-7 limes)
- 6 small fresh cucumbers
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups cold water
- 250 ml sparkling mineral water (1 cup)
- Fresh mint leaves
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup water. Heat until sugar dissolves, then boil for 2 minutes. Let syrup cool.
- Pour lime juice into a 1.5-liter pitcher.
- Peel cucumbers, cut in half, and scoop out seeds with a teaspoon. Place cucumber halves in a blender with 1 cup water and blend until smooth.
- Strain cucumber juice through a fine sieve directly into the pitcher. Press pulp with a spoon to extract as much juice as possible.
- Add half of the cooled syrup and 2 cups cold water to the pitcher. Stir well. Taste and add more syrup if desired.
- I used only half the syrup to keep it pleasantly tart.
- Chill the lemonade in the fridge.
- When serving, add sparkling mineral water, ice cubes, and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
- If you wonβt drink the entire pitcher at once, add ice cubes only to individual glasses to avoid dilution.
